Is your privacy important to us?

You bet! This notice applies to all information submitted on the Oregon Training Network web site and OTN registration forms, as well as equivalent policies regarding information submitted through OTN partner registration sites.

How do we use what you share with us?

We use names and email addresses to answer the emails we receive. You can register with our web site if you would like to receive information on upcoming training and related events, and the data you provide will only be used for that purpose. Information you submit on our OTN registration pages (powered by EventBrite) will be used to communicate with you about the course you registered for, as well as future courses that you may be interested in. If you wish not to receive future emails, you can opt out at any time. Sometimes we work with partner training vendors who use their own registration site, in which case we require your information only be used by that vendor to inform you of the course you registered for and related, upcoming courses. You can opt out of receiving emails from these vendors at any time as well.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our web site and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our web site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. We also use company names only to verify association member discount eligibility for registrants. As companies belong to various trade associations, individual names are not necessary to provide for verification.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Need to correct a mistake in your personal information or access it?

You can request all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by sending a request to info@oregontrainingnetwork.com. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information and to correct any factual errors of which you may inform us.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
